Tour Itinerary

Begin your adventure with a private transfer from Milan, where our dedicated tour leader will greet you. The comfortable journey to the charming alpine resort town of Madonna di Campiglio includes a leisurely lunch stop along the way, setting a relaxed pace for the adventure ahead.

Upon arrival, we will check you into your quality 4-star accommodation, which will be your comfortable home base for the entire week. This evening, enjoy your first delicious dinner at the hotel, marking the start of your unforgettable experience.

Start your day with a hotel breakfast before meeting your certified local guide. Today’s easy, beautiful outing starts in Palù and takes you along the storied Arciduca Trail. This historic path offers a fantastic introduction to the Brenta Dolomites, revealing sweeping views of the Brenta range.

Your guide will lead you to the spectacular lower and higher Vallesinella Waterfalls – a series of cascades where glacier-fed streams tumble over limestone terraces.

Next up – enjoy lunch, either a packed lunch on the trail or a meal at a welcoming mountain hut.

A short transfer ride takes you back to Madonna di Campiglio for free time to visit the charming alpine town before enjoying your dinner and a restful night.

After breakfast, a short transfer brings you to the Grostè gondola, beginning a day of spectacular high-altitude hiking. Ascend by cable car to Grostè Pass and begin your trek from the Stoppani Hut.

The trail winds across a large post-glacial landslide, showcasing the raw, geological power of the mountains. You’ll continue to the renowned Tuckett Hut, then downhill to Fridolin before climbing up to the Brentei Hut in the beautiful Brenta Valley. Brentei is an iconic symbol of Trentino mountaineering, nestled against dramatic, towering rock faces.

We will stop for lunch at the Casinei Hut, followed by a descent to the Vallesinella Hut for a short bus ride back to Campiglio. To celebrate your day, you’ll experience the Italian lifestyle with a lively aperitivo at a local bar, taking in the magnificent Dolomites backdrop before returning to the hotel for your dinner.

Level: Medium | ↑100m | 5-6hrs

Today is an easy, scenic journey that combines breathtaking natural beauty with an authentic taste of local culture. A morning transfer takes you up for a dramatic ascent to the Cornisello Hut, leading you through pristine alpine terrain.

Your path winds past the reflective waters of the Cornisello Lakes, including the dark, mysterious Lake Nero, and continues over the Om Pass to reach Rifugio Segantini. The views here are truly breathtaking, offering a classic Brenta panorama.

The afternoon brings a unique cultural experience: a visit and beer tasting at Birreria 1550, the only brewery in Madonna di Campiglio, which proudly uses water and raw materials sourced directly from the Brenta Dolomites.

Level: Easy | ↑250 m ↓300 m | 4-5hrs

Ride the Pradalago gondola to access and traverse a network of gentle trails connecting mountain huts and alpine lakes.

From the top, you’ll pass Rifugio Viviani and the tranquil Lake Pradalago before continuing to the charming Baito Serodol. The highlight of this section is Lake Malghette, a natural gem surrounded by lush trees mirroring on the lake’s surface, providing a moment of pure relaxation and awe-inspiring views. Your descent takes you back through Campo Carlo Magno before returning to Madonna di Campiglio.

This evening is your night out in town, immerse yourself in the local culinary scene, and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant to taste the typical Alpine food of the region.

Level: Easy | ↑200 m ↓500 m | 4-5hrs

Another spectacular day begins with a meeting with your guide at the Grostè gondola.

After the ascent to Pian del Graffer, your trek leads you through ancient larch forests towards Colem Pass, where you can feel the deep, natural connection with this remarkable landscape. The trail continues past Malga Vagliana and into Val Gelada, a beautiful high-mountain valley. You’ll reach Baita Tevini and Malga Vaglianella, rewarding your active exploration with incredible panoramic views.

Lunch is a packed meal to enjoy amidst the stunning scenery. You’ll return to the hotel for a well-deserved dinner.

Level: Moderate | ↑150 m ↓500 m | 5-6hrs

Your final day of this Madonna di Campiglio trekking tour offers a satisfying challenge with stunning rewards.

We take the 5 Lakes cablecar up to the 5 Lakes hut and the incredibly picturesque Lake Ritorto. From this serene point, you’ll begin your climb to Falculotta Pass, traversing a varied landscape of meadows and rocks. This ascent provides unforgettable views before you descend to the Valchestria Hut.

There will be time to take lunch at a hut or on the trail amidst the spectacular backdrop. After returning to Madonna di Campiglio, you’ll have some leisure time before the evening’s main event: a memorable farewell dinner at the restaurant.

It’s the perfect opportunity to share stories and celebrate the friendships and achievements of your incredible week in the Dolomites.

Level: Medium | ↑400 m | 5-6hrs

Our small family group (2 adults and 2 teenagers) had an AMAZING time with Dolomite Active. Our trip in the Dolomites is one of most memorable active family holidays!! 😁 We chose a multisport 7 day tour and experienced so many beautiful places, including Marmolada and Lake Garda. Our tour guides were all very professional, knowledgeable, but also kind, fun and customer oriented. They even arranged a hike instead of a via ferrata on one of the days. We really appreciate the personal service and can't wait to come back!! Thank you Dolomite Active team!!! 😁

Amazing!!
What a trip! From day one, everything ran so smoothly that we could just relax and enjoy ourselves. The guides were absolute pros and always thinking ahead so the group got the most out of each day. We had so many “wow” moments where you just have to stop and soak it all in. Great food, welcoming hotels, and a perfect balance of adventure and relax time. If you’re looking for a trip that’s easy, fun, and unforgettable, then I have no problem recommending Dolomites Active Tours.

Excellent organization! Everything was very well organised and we didn't have to think about a thing. We did the multisport (hiking, cycling and ferrata) over 7 days. There was a good mix of activity and downtime and we ate lots of delicious mountain foods. Hotels were very good, especially the smaller family run places. The mountain bikes and via ferrata equipment was all top notch. The guides were very professional. I highly recommend Dolomites Active Tours.

We have hiked a lot this last 3-4 years, but our memories of the Dolomites are the most special. We chose a self guided hiking trip in the Brenta Dolomites. The full nine day tour seemed too long, but we were able to modify our trip to a shorter 7 day version. Thanks to the team at Dolomites Active for helping with all our questions. We were given everything, including detailed route guidance and maps - it made the trip very stress free. As for the huts we stayed in 4 different places. Waking up each day to a different view and every evening we ate delicious local foods, washed down with Italian wine! The shared bedrooms and bathrooms are not so bad... I can only say it is by far better than camping! The Dolomites was so beautiful, we are desperate to go back, we hope it will be soon.

Justin has been so helpful in planning our Dolomites hiking tour, he was always there answering to all my questions, was nice to face time each other and talk about the tour rather than just over emails. I would definitely book future tour with Justin only, extremely the best customer service.
